Firing during Long March: 'Imran Khan's attackers are apparently not one, but two.

During the long march of Tehreek-e-Insaf towards the federal capital Islamabad, former Prime Minister Imran Khan was injured in a firing incident in Wazirabad city of Punjab province, but according to doctors, his condition is out of danger.

It was the seventh day of the long march, at the beginning of which Imran Khan left his residence in the Zaman Park area of the provincial capital Lahore at half past twelve. But after about five hours, their container was fired upon.
At least five people, including Imran Khan and Senator Faisal Javed, were injured and one person was killed in the firing incident, which the Tehreek-e-Insaf leadership has described as a murderous attack.

Punjab Chief Minister Pervez Elahi has said that a JIT has been formed to investigate the incident of firing but "apparently the attackers are not one, but two".

Imran Khan was hit on the leg from the front while the alleged attacker was on the right side.

At the time this incident took place, Imran Khan and several leaders of Tehreek-e-Insaf were on board the container.

At that time, no one was giving a speech. The DJ was only playing Tehreek-e-Insaf songs. With his characteristic smile, Imran Khan was waving his hand and thanking the participants of the march.
Tehreek-e-Insaf activist Mueezuddin, who was on the same container, told the BBC that everything was going on as usual on the container. We were near Wazirabad and soon the stop was going to be reached where Khan Sahib was to give a speech. I was standing on the right side of the container with Hammad Azhar and Fawad Chaudhry.

Both of them were responding to the public by waving their hands when suddenly the sounds of gunshots were heard. Khan Sahib's guard took him down. We do not understand what happened.
After the arrest and statement of the attacker, the accusations against the institution are unjustified: Rana Sanaullah.

While denying the allegations made by Tehreek-e-Insaf, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that after the arrest of the person who did the firing, the PTI leadership's accusations against the Prime Minister, me and the organization are unjustified. are.'

He has demanded the formation of a JIT comprising senior officers for a clean and transparent investigation into the incident.
According to the news agency APP, he said in his press conference that 'Major General Faisal is fulfilling his responsibilities in a good way, it is his (Tehreek-e-Insaf's) will to target him and start propaganda without any evidence.

It happens.'
"An organization that is not working for you politically, has refused to bring it back to power and has apologized for fulfilling your political wishes, so why are you dragging it in every case, that organization is the survival, defense of this country. , the protector of the frontiers, are carrying out such campaigns against this institution which the hostile country likes.'
In response to a question, the interior minister said that the security agencies are providing foolproof security (to Imran Khan) before, they are also worried about his security, the steps they will take in the coming days.

He said that the first notification of any incident is important. The police did the right thing by recording the video (of the attacker) but it should not have gone to the media.

Demand the resignation of Punjab Chief Minister Pervez Elahi instead of the Prime Minister due to the video leak and lack of proper security measures.
